BREW AUTHENTIC CHAI AT HOME

Our mission is for anyone to be able to experience the traditional methods of making authentic Indian Chai in their own home. Our Masala Chai recipe has travelled far and wide and passed down through generations and we're now sharing our family recipe with you.

We have a range of beautiful authentic blends and alongside this we will also be offering our homemade Kenyan Style Chevdo, a traditional Indian snack which is typically consumed with our Chai. We hope you love it.

Masala Chai Brewing Instructions

Brewing Instructions for 2 servings

Follow the steps below for the perfect Chai

1. Bring 2 cups of water to boil and add 2 tablespoons of Classic or Modern Chai into the boiling water and brew on high heat for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2. Add 3/4 cup of milk and bring back to boil on high heat, stirring often for 3 minutes.

3. Reduce heat and sweeten to your liking. We recommend 1-2 tsp per serving. Strain and serve.

4. Let the Chai stand for 1-2 minutes before taking that first sip. Enjoy with some Kenya style Chevdo.

Hints & Tips:

Boil the Chai for longer than three minutes during steps 1 and 3 for a stronger spice or tea flavour and slightly creamier texture.
